Japanese Kimono Designers

Question: Designers/Clothing...?
Anybody know of any good Japanese/Chinese clothing designers & their web sites. I'm looking for modern cloths. While I like kimonos, I’m looking for more of a contemporary look that people can actually wear. Clothing chains/stores in China and/or Japan.
Answer: If you're thinking normal like Gothic Lolita, Japanese Street Style, or Harajuku, here is a store;

Mens Kimono

Question: Where can I acquire a high quality mens kimono?
I've been doing some searches on the Internet and haven't really found a good quality kimono. Ebay had some, but they seemed cheap. They were hand painted and I couldn't tell if the graphics were stitched or just decals.
Answer: Hand-painted kimono are actually considered to be some of the highest-quality kimono, assuming that what you're looking at is authentic. It's not a decal. But yeah, if you're not an expert in kimono, I suggest staying away from places like eBay, especially for men's kimono. They're tough to find sometimes. Try Ichiroya, Yamatoku, Kimono Lily, Ryu Japan, Jshoppers.com, Bokunan-do, and the international section of Rakuten instead.
