Question: Please help me with these brain teaser questionss !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

1. Mr. Seibold has 6 daughters. Each daughter is 4 years older than her next younger sister. The oldest daughter is 3 times as old than her youngest sister . How old is each daughter ?

2. How much dirt is in a round hole that is 9 feet deep with a diameter of 3 feet ?

3. Louis would rather have rendezvous than a meeting. He prefers chocolate mousse to chocolate pudding. And he likes pasta, but not noodles. Which would louis like better . . . a kimono or a bathrobe ?

4. What is the number missing from the following sequence ? What is the pattern ?

5.Arrange five 8's so that they equal 9. You may NOT use a plus or minus sign.
oh sorry i forgot to put the sequence
here it is for #4.
4, 7, 11, 18, 29, 47, _ , 123, 199, 322

Answer: i will take a shot at a few

1. if the youngest daughter is x yrs old, the oldest is x+20 yrs old

then you know that 3x=x+20, solve and get x=10, so the ages are:

10,14,18,22,26,30

2 is easy...there is no dirt in a hole

3. the comparison is always between a foreign word and an english word, so Louis prefers a kimono over a bathrobe

4. sorry, don't see the sequence

(added after you included the sequence)
the sequence is:

4, 7, 11, 18, 29, 47, _ , 123, 199, 322

each term is the sum of the two preceding terms, in other words...4+7=11; 11+7=18; so the missing term is
29+47=76 (and then it follows that the next term should be 47+76=123)

5. (also added later)

8 88/88 =9 (8 and 88/88 = 8+1=9)
