Japanese Haori Kimono

Question: Find cheap used Japanese traditional clothes in Yokohama or Shinjuku?
I live in Yokohama (though commute to Shinjuku daily) and am only in Japan for a few more weeks. I would really like to find a cheap--preferably all totaling under $100, used is fine--set of a white hakama, a black kimono, and some kind of black and/or white haori. If they are separately bought, that is also fine. I hear there are shops where they sell used kimono type clothing.
Anyone know where I could find this?
Answer: Diagonally across the intersection from the GAP in Harajuku/Omotesando is a shop called "Chicago" that is a used/vintage clothing shop. In the far back of the shop, they sell used Kimono.

Kimono Sleeves Dress

Question: Kimono inspired wedding gown?
I'm having an 'Autumn Asia' wedding, therefore I am looking for a kimono-esq wedding dress, NOT an actual kimono, something a-line with perhaps the kimono-like sleeves? I would love an obi that goes out with a full train.
Anyone have any suggestions? I want to exhaust all my options before seeing a custom seamstress.
Answer: I'm going to bet you're going to have to go with a seamstress for this. (Which I happen to be!) Depending on your location, I may be able to help you come up with something, and if you're to far away, I can at least help you find the right pattern. (Sounds like you might need more than one pattern to achieve the effect!)
