I know its October & it may be chilly since it's not a long dress or heavier material but I loved it & my mom likes it & my friends think its cute. My issue is I hate heels. Not only because I cant walk well in them & they hurt but my boyfriend is shorter than I am by an inch as it is. Plus, I end up kicking them off at wedding usually anyway. Suggestions? Ideas?
would these boots work?

for accessories i would go with a tiny black clutch as a purse
and either silver jewelry or something light and black i dont know if that makes sence but something black but still very dainty and feminine. i always buy accessories at claires or the icing its not really that great of quality but they have a really really great selection
those boots are wayyy to casual to go with that dress and i wouldnt even wear those boots with a dress period, they would be cute with skinny jeans tho

Kimono Pattern For Doll

Question: Where can I find patterns for a kimono?
I would like to make very realistiic doll-size kimonos (one male and one female). Can anyone suggest a site that explains in detail how to make kimonos for both sexes?
Answer: I'm not sure what size doll you're sewing for, but these patterns are for BJD (ball jointed dolls). They're either 60cm or 45 cm tall (2 types). Sd = 60cm and MSD = 45 cm, just for reference. The first site is a site of free patters for kimono as well as other types of clothing. It's a good starting place for the actual pattern. To make it realistic in terms of accessories and stuff, the only thing I can think of is to look for historical references, because I don't know much about for real kimonos. Just the americanized pretty ones. And the pattern works. We've used it to make doll komonos.
The second link is for a forums for BJDs. You'll have to register to see it, but registration is free and there's tons of advice on sewing and adapting patterns that will apply to any doll you want to sew for. The link I specifically included is a list of free patterns that happen to be people's favorites. And if they're favorites, then you know that they're good ones, right?
Good luck and have fun!
