Question: japanese honey moon?

i'm having my honey moon in japan is there anything i should know give me some culture advice while i'm there i want to get a kimono how much do they cost and send me some pics of any cute ones thank you

Answer: Kimonos cost thousands of dollars, not to mention all the inner-garments and shoes that goes with it. Few Japanese even own kimonos anymore. They rent them for special occasions.

For you, a recommend buying a cotton yukata (summer kimono) with obi, a nice one will cost about $600. But if you come in the summer (like, soon) these are in season and you can buy a good, cheaper version at UniQlo for about $50. UniQlo has many stores.

Anything you should know?
Dont talk loudly or be physically obtrusive on the trains, like dont cross your legs while sitting or stick them out in the aisle. Dont eat in public, for example eating as you walk down the street, on the train, or in train stations (but drinking as you walk outside is ok). Dont just speak English as you walk in a store or restaurant -- lots of Japanese still dont speak English and that startles them. While dining in a restaurant, be careful to not stick your chopsticks straight into the food and leave them sticking up vertically. Instead, rest chopsticks on the side of the dish or on the rest provided.

Have fun.
