Of A Japanese Kimono

Question: i would like to find someone in the netherlands who can teach me to tie obi please?
i am a collector of japanese kimono and would also like to wear them to formal occasions - hence the request for someone who can teach me this skill, please
Answer: I don't know anyone personally in the Netherlands who can do this, but you may find books or videos to be helpful. There are plenty of sites online with picture-filled tutorials and some with video illustrations.
I'd suggest contacting your local Japanese association, maybe an ikebana club or a bonsai organization and see if they can refer you. If you have an authentic Japanese restaurant or tea house around, that might also be a good place to see information.
